We jokingly called the original Time Out the "Big Enchilada" because it's so roomy inside. So when the company rolled out the Time Out Deluxe,we were stumped as to what to call it. Maybe the "Whole Enchilada" is most appropriate. The fact is, the Time Out Deluxe was built to answer two important customer demands: wheel size and bed size.
First, for folks who want the smoothest towing experience over rougher roads, the Deluxe carriers full-size 12-inch wheels with standard size 4.80x12 trailer tires.
Second, the Time Out Deluxe now features a bed area with queen size measurements making it the largest-available bed in a camper that is fully off the ground. That also means you have even more inside sitting area to enjoy.
All the accessories that work with the Easy Camper and regular size Time Out fit the Time Out Deluxe as well -- the regular and l-shaped awnings, cooler packages, light bars, and so on.
Check out these videos that show you how your Time Out camper is delivered, how to assemble it, and how to set it up. The assembly video features the Time Out Deluxe. The setup video shows the mid-size Time Out. Assembly and setup are identical for these models.
Motel Comfort, Campsite Price
If you've looked at Time Out campers before, then you may know the general story. They are the largest pop-up motorcycle campers on the market that set up completely off the ground. This is important, especially when the weather turns sour. When you step up and out of the weather into a dry, roomy Time Out, it feels like you've entered a motel room, not a camper. Time Campers are large enough to live in for weeks at a time and not feel like your crowding each other. Pull this into a camping spot, pop it open, and invite the neighbors over for a friendly game of Texas Hold 'Em. Despite its size, you can set up the Time Out Deluxe in just a couple of minutes.
The Time Out's standard features include a queen-size bed 6.5 feet long, 5 feet wide, capable of supporting two large adults. It includes a full-size screened door and four huge screened windows for incredible ventilation. Two windows include clear plastic inserts for rainy days to allow in the light w/o the precip. A handy zipper allows you to access the optional tongue-mounted cooler from inside the unit. An air conditioning port is standard. Add the AC stand and an inexpensive AC unit from Sears or Wal-Mart and you'll be the envy of every other camper. The Time Out also includes a table, air mattress, and folding chair.
The options list includes a massive screen room, awning, or l-shaped awning, allowing you to add more covered area to fit your requirements. Inside you'll have up to sixteen cubic feet of cargo space for storage, or opt for the external luggage back that fits on top of the camper for anytime access to your gear.
We recommend pulling the Time Out Deluxe with larger motorcycles with a minimum of 1,300 cc's or larger, and good brakes. Trikes and four-wheelers can easily handle the Time Out, too.
